Blichmann BeerGun bottle filler – fill carbonated beer from keg to bottle
The Blichmann BeerGun is a bottle filler for transferring fully carbonated beer from a keg to bottles. Blichmann's patented Quiescent Flow Technology™ reduces turbulence and pressure changes, giving an even fill with little foam. The BeerGun is for homebrewers who carbonate in kegs but want some bottles for gifts, competitions or storage.
Unlike traditional counter-pressure fillers, the BeerGun has its valve at the bottom of the filler. This reduces turbulence and keeps the stem full of beer for a consistent fill.

How to use the BeerGun
Carbonate the beer fully in the keg before filling. The bottle is first purged with CO2 from the BeerGun, then the beer is filled from the bottom of the bottle. Cold beer gives less foam. See the video at the bottom of the page for a walkthrough.

What is the BeerGun used for?

What is the difference between the BeerGun and a counter-pressure filler?
A counter-pressure filler pressurises the bottle before filling. The BeerGun purges the bottle with CO2 and has its valve at the bottom of the filler, which means less turbulence and less set-up and cleaning.
Does the beer need to be carbonated before filling with the BeerGun?
Yes. The BeerGun fills the beer as it is in the keg, so it must be fully carbonated in the keg first.
Is a carry case included?
No. The BeerGun no longer comes with a carry case as shown in the video.
