Tapcooler Counter Pressure Bottle Filler – bottle carbonated beer straight from the tap
The Tapcooler Counter Pressure Bottle Filler is a compact counter pressure filler that plugs straight into forward sealing beer taps. You fill finished, carbonated beer from the keg into bottles without losing carbonation, and the bottle is filled from the bottom with CO2 and beer. The filler comes with a storage box.

- Perlick 500 series with an optional tap connector
- cannot be used with ventilated taps, i.e. taps that are not forward sealing
- can also fill a uKeg. You will then need a rubber stopper with a 9 mm hole, which fits the uKeg opening with its 53 mm inner diameter.
How it works
CO2 connects with a push-fit (John Guest) fitting for tubing with a 3/16 inch outer diameter. A barb adaptor for soft tubing with a 6–8 mm inner diameter is included. The CO2 flow is controlled by a push-button valve.
The tube in the bottle connector fills CO2 and beer from the bottom of the bottle. The tube is telescopic, so the filler works with bottle heights of 10.5–31.5 cm. With taller bottles the tube will not reach the bottom. The bottle seal is moulded from food-grade silicone. It has a flange that directs any spills down the side of the bottle, instead of spraying upwards, when the pressurised bottle is removed. For containers with a wider opening, a rubber stopper of suitable size with a 9 mm hole can be used.
The filler has an adjustable pressure relief valve that controls the pressure in the bottle and thus the filling speed. How fast the beer can be filled without too much foam depends on the carbonation level and the temperature of the beer and the bottle.
