Blichmann Engineering – BeerGun, RipTide, QuickCarb and spare parts
Blichmann Engineering is an American brand of brewing equipment for homebrewers and small-scale brewers. Brewshop stocks the BeerGun bottle filler, RipTide brewing pump, QuickCarb carbonation system, HopRocket, ThruMometer inline thermometers, G2 valves, QuickConnector fittings and the HERMS coil, plus spare parts for the pumps and the BeerGun.
Choosing Blichmann equipment
Bottling from the keg: The BeerGun fills bottles with carbonated beer straight from the keg and works one-handed. Choose it if you keg your beer and want to take a few bottles along.
Pump: RipTide comes with 1/2" NPT connections or with 1.5" Tri-Clamp inlet and outlet. Match it to the fittings on the rest of your system. If you already own a Chugger or March pump, the RipTide Upgrade Kit gives it the RipTide Tri-Clamp head.
Carbonation: QuickCarb circulates beer through a carbonation stone and fits 19, 20 and 23 litre corny kegs.
Hops: The HopRocket works as a hopback between kettle and fermenter or as a hop infuser, and is pressure-tight up to 40 psi.
Temperature and flow: The ThruMometer shows the temperature in the hose, for 3/8" or 1/2" hose. The G2 Linear Flow Valve with 1/2" NPT gives fine flow control.

QuickConnector – stainless quick connectors for 1/2" NPT, with barb, elbow, 1/4" MFL or 1.5" Tri-Clamp.
HERMS Coil and AutoSparge – 304 stainless heat exchange coil for HERMS mashing, and automatic level control for sparging.

How does the Blichmann BeerGun work?
The BeerGun connects to your keg and fills carbonated beer straight into the bottle. Quiescent Flow Technology reduces turbulence and pressure changes, so you get less foam and keep the carbonation.
What is the difference between the RipTide and the Tri-Clamp RipTide?
It is the same pump. The standard version has 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet, while the Tri-Clamp version has 1.5" Tri-Clamp. Both have a removable pump head and a built-in flow valve.
How does QuickCarb work?
QuickCarb uses a circulation pump and a carbonation stone to carbonate beer in a corny keg quickly and precisely, without the risk of over-carbonation. Many breweries carbonate the same way.
How do I clean the ThruMometer?
The ThruMometer is aluminium and should be cleaned with mild detergent and water below 60 °C. Do not leave it with other metals in the same bucket, as this can cause galvanic corrosion.
