Description
Ultratap SS faucet – forward sealing in stainless steel
The Ultratap SS is a forward sealing beer faucet in stainless steel, supplied with a handle. It was developed by Brad Amidzich, the inventor of the original Vent-Matic and Intertap, and is a further development of the Intertap design. The faucet is made with laser precision and combines durability, hygiene and reliable pouring.
The patented design has fewer parts and a smooth, precision-made internal surface. It creates laminar flow, the opposite of turbulence, so the beer pours calmly into the glass. The result is a more controlled pour with less foam and better preservation of flavour and aroma.
Features
- forward sealing: closes at the front, does not get sticky and is easier to clean
- laminar flow for a controlled pour with less foam
- stainless steel, made with laser precision
- fewer parts and a smooth internal surface
- thermal mass that keeps the faucet cold longer
- modular spout: stout spout, sparkler spout, ball lock spout or growler filler
- supplied with handle
Hygienic and easy to clean
As a forward sealing faucet, the Ultratap is closed at the front. This stops the faucet getting sticky, makes cleaning easier and reduces the risk of off-flavours carrying over into the beer. The smooth internal surface also helps keep hygiene high.
Stays cold longer
In many draught systems the faucet is the warmest part, which can cause foam in the first glass. Thanks to its thermal mass the Ultratap SS stays cold longer, giving an even, cold pour from the first glass to the last.
For all draught systems
The Ultratap SS fits everything from small kegerators and home bars to large commercial systems. With the modular spout you can quickly adapt the faucet with a stout spout, sparkler spout, ball lock spout or growler filler.
Ultratap also comes in black (Ultratap Black) and with flow control (Ultratap Twist).
Frequently asked questions about the Ultratap SS
What is a forward sealing faucet?
A faucet that closes at the front, where the beer comes out. No beer is left inside the faucet to dry and get sticky, and the faucet is easier to keep clean.
What is the difference between the Ultratap SS, Black and Twist?
The SS is in bright stainless steel, the Black is the same faucet in a black finish, and the Twist adds flow control so you can adjust how fast the beer pours.
Can I change the spout?
Yes. The spout is modular and can be swapped for a stout spout, sparkler spout, ball lock spout or growler filler.
How often should the faucet be cleaned?
Clean faucets and beer lines every time you change kegs.
