Description
Lindr KONTAKT 40 NEW Green Line beer cooler without compressor
The Lindr KONTAKT 40 NEW Green Line is a compact, portable beer cooler with two taps and high performance. It is made for chilling and serving beer at home and works well with Cornelius kegs connected to CO2. The model comes without an air compressor, so you use CO2 to push the beer from the keg.
The KONTAKT 40 cools up to 50 litres per hour, equivalent to up to 100 half-litres. With two taps, you can dispense from two independent kegs, for example with different beers. NEW in the name means that this is a new version of the cooler, certified to the latest Czech and European safety and hygiene standards.
Green Line
Lindr Green Line uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-290. This gives 20% higher energy efficiency and 20% lower energy consumption. Lindr has also introduced an energy-saving system in its production.
Equipment
The KONTAKT 40 comes with a thermostat for continuous, precise control of the drink temperature, taps, tap spanner, drip tray and push-fit connector for easy connection.

Frequently asked questions about the Lindr KONTAKT 40 NEW Green Line
Do I need a compressor to dispense from a Cornelius keg?
No. With Cornelius kegs, you use CO2 to push the beer. An air compressor is only for one-way kegs with an internal bag, such as PolyKeg and KeyKeg, and never for Cornelius kegs.
Can I dispense two different beers at the same time?
Yes. The KONTAKT 40 has two taps, so you can connect two independent kegs with different beers.
Why does my beer get over-carbonated when dispensing from a Cornelius keg?
A Lindr unit cools the whole line, which requires higher dispensing pressure than a simple tap. Turn the pressure down and release the excess pressure in the keg after dispensing, otherwise the beer absorbs too much CO2 over time.
What is the difference between the KONTAKT 40 and the PYGMY 25?
Both have no compressor and are used with CO2. The KONTAKT 40 has two taps and cools up to 50 litres per hour, while the PYGMY 25 has one tap and cools 25–35 litres per hour.
