Description
Lindr PYGMY 25 NEW portable beer cooler without compressor
The Lindr PYGMY 25 NEW Green Line is a compact, portable beer cooler with dispensing tap for serving ice-cold beer at home and at smaller events. It comes without an air compressor, so you use CO2 to push the beer from the keg. That makes it a popular choice for homebrewers and others who already have CO2 equipment and dispense from Cornelius kegs. The Pygmy 25 cools 25–35 litres per hour, equivalent to 50–70 half-litres.
NEW in the name means that this is a new version of the cooler, certified to the latest Czech and European safety and hygiene standards. The specially designed cooling block keeps a constant temperature and chills drinks quickly.
Green Line
Lindr Green Line uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-290. This gives 20% higher energy efficiency and 20% lower energy consumption. Lindr has also introduced an energy-saving system in its production.
Equipment
The Pygmy 25 NEW comes with a thermostat for continuous, precise control of the drink temperature, a cooled tap, tap spanner, drip tray and push-fit connector for easy connection.

Frequently asked questions about the Lindr PYGMY 25 NEW Green Line
Do I need a compressor to dispense from a Cornelius keg?
No. With Cornelius kegs, you use CO2 to push the beer. An air compressor is only for one-way kegs with an internal bag, such as PolyKeg and KeyKeg, and never for Cornelius kegs.
How much beer can the Pygmy 25 cool?
The Pygmy 25 cools 25–35 litres per hour, equivalent to 50–70 half-litres. That is plenty at home and at smaller events.
Why does my beer get over-carbonated when dispensing from a Cornelius keg?
A Lindr unit cools the whole line, which requires higher dispensing pressure than a simple tap. Turn the pressure down and release the excess pressure in the keg after dispensing, otherwise the beer absorbs too much CO2 over time.
What is the difference between the Pygmy 25 and the Pygmy 25/K?
The Pygmy 25/K has a built-in air compressor for dispensing from PolyKeg and KeyKeg. The Pygmy 25 has no compressor and is used with CO2, for example from Cornelius kegs.
