Austmann IPA all-grain beer kit – a hop-forward IPA from Austmann Bryggeri
Together with Austmann Bryggeri in Trondheim we have created an all-grain beer kit for homebrewers who want to brew the hop-forward Austmann IPA. The beer is packed with American hops, with intense notes of grapefruit, ripe citrus, herbs and pine needles. It is floral, bitter, bold and complex. Jump aboard if you dare, and set sail for unknown lands.

Priming sugar, fining agent and any yeast nutrient are not included in the kits.
Fresh malt for brew day
For quality and shelf life, the malt is supplied uncrushed. If you do not already have one, we recommend investing in a grain mill so you have fresh ingredients on brew day. Freshly crushed malt gives the best result.

The kit contains one pack of US-05. The beer is fermented for 10–14 days at 19 °C.
How much beer does the kit make?
Approx. 23 litres of finished beer, with 25 litres in the fermenter. With OG 1.060 and FG 1.010 the beer ends up at around 6.5 %.
What is the sugar in the kit for?
The sugar is part of the recipe and is added during brewing. Priming sugar is not included.
