Speidel Hydropress 40L – hydraulic stainless steel fruit press
The Speidel Hydropress 40L is a hydraulic fruit press that presses crushed fruit, grapes or berries into juice using water pressure from the tap. Fill the press with ground fruit, connect a garden hose and turn on the tap. The water fills a rubber diaphragm inside the press, which presses the fruit mash from the inside out against the mesh basket. The press is made for anyone making cider, must or juice.
The press can also be used for honeycomb, tomatoes and citrus fruit.

Frequently asked questions about the Speidel Hydropress 40L
Does the press need electricity?
No. The press is driven by water pressure from an ordinary tap via a garden hose. The maximum water pressure is 3 bar, and you control pressure and pressing time by opening the tap more or less.
Does the fruit need to be crushed first?
Yes. The fruit must be ground before it goes into the press. For apples and pears, a fruit mill such as the Speidel fruit mill is suitable.
What is included?
Press, press bag, splash guard and GEKA adapter to male thread 3/4".
Can I buy spare parts?
Yes. The diaphragm and ball valve for the Hydropress are sold separately, as is the press bag for the 40L model.
