Oxygenation stone 1.5" Tri-Clamp – 0.5 micron stainless steel
A 0.5 micron oxygenation stone mounted on a 1.5" Tri-Clamp fitting, made of 304 stainless steel. The stone fits in a Tri-Clamp port and is used to add oxygen to the wort before fermentation. At 0.5 micron the bubbles are very small, so the oxygen dissolves well in the wort.

Why oxygenate the wort?
Yeast needs oxygen at the start of fermentation to multiply. Oxygenation gives a healthier and faster start to fermentation.
How long is the stone?
The length inside the Tri-Clamp fitting is 17 cm. Check that there is room in the tank or pipe where you plan to fit it.
How do I keep the stone clean?
Avoid touching the stone itself with your fingers, as grease can clog the pores. Clean and sanitise it before and after use.
