Frequently asked questions about the Lindr AS-40

Can I switch the cooler on straight away?

No. The unit must stand still for 24 hours before it is switched on. Plan the installation at least a day before the cooler is needed.

How much beer can the AS-40 cool?

The AS-40 has capacity for continuous cooling of 30–40 litres per hour, split between two lines.

What goes in the cooler?

Only water. The cooler builds an ice bank that chills the beer in the coils.

What pressure do I need when dispensing from Cornelius kegs?

When the whole line is chilled, you need a higher dispensing pressure than usual. Turn the pressure down and release the excess after dispensing, or the beer will become over-carbonated. Read more in the article on the right pressure with Lindr.
