Frequently asked questions about Juicy Jane´s New England IPA
How much beer does the kit make?
The kit makes 23–25 litres. With an OG of 1.061 and FG of 1.015 the beer ends up at about 6 % ABV.
Is the malt crushed?
No. The malt is supplied uncrushed because crushed malt starts to lose flavour and aroma. Crush it with a grain mill right before you brew.
What else do I need?
Priming sugar or carbonation drops if you bottle the beer, and equipment for mashing, boiling and fermenting.
Should a NEIPA go in a keg or bottles?
Hop-forward NEIPA is best fresh and handles oxygen poorly. A keg is the best choice. If you bottle it, keep it cold and drink it within a couple of weeks.
