A John Guest adapter with 3/4" female BSP threads on one side and a push-fit connection for 3/8" outside diameter on the other. It fits kitchen taps and other equipment with 3/4" male threads, among others, so you can connect tubing or pipe with a 3/8" outside diameter.

Push the tubing straight in until it stops. To release it, push in the collet and pull the tubing out. Cut the tubing end square so the connection seals.
