Description
John Guest 3/8" – 5/16" Stem Elbow – push-fit elbow with stem
The John Guest 3/8" – 5/16" Stem Elbow is a 90-degree elbow with a 3/8" stem at one end and a push-fit connection for 5/16" OD tubing at the other. The stem plugs into a 3/8" John Guest fitting, and the tubing pushes into the other end. This lets you step down from 3/8" to 5/16" and turn the line at the same time, for example in a kegerator or a draught system.
John Guest push-fit fittings are made for fast and secure connection of tubing and pipe for liquids and gas under pressure. The fittings are food grade.

Frequently asked questions about the John Guest Stem Elbow
What is the difference between a stem and a tube connection?
The stem is a plain tube end that plugs into another John Guest fitting just like tubing. The tube connection is the push-fit fitting itself, where the tubing is pushed in.
How do I disconnect the tubing?
Push the collet in towards the fitting and pull the tubing out at the same time. The line must be depressurised before you disconnect it.
Can I use Star San on John Guest fittings?
Acid-based sanitizers can make plastic parts brittle over time. Rinse the fittings with clean water after using Star San.
