Description
Haandbryggeriet Pale Ale – all-grain beer kit
In collaboration with Haandbryggeriet in Drammen, Norway, we have created an all-grain beer kit for anyone who wants to brew their refreshing Pale Ale. It is a pale, aromatic beer with a nice malt profile, where generous use of fresh hops gives a fresh hop flavour.
The kit is for brewers who brew all-grain, with a brewing system or kettle, and mash and boil from scratch.

Frequently asked questions about Haandbryggeriet Pale Ale
How much beer does the kit make?
About 21–22 litres of finished beer. The recipe assumes 29 litres pre-boil and about 24.5 litres into the fermenter.
How strong is the beer?
With an OG of 1.041 and FG of 1.006 the beer ends up at about 4.7 % ABV.
Is the malt crushed?
No. The malt is supplied uncrushed because crushed malt starts to lose flavour and aroma. Crush it with a grain mill right before you brew.
What else do I need?
Priming sugar or carbonation drops if you bottle the beer, optionally fining agent and yeast nutrient, and equipment for mashing, boiling and fermenting.
