Description
Floating dip tube with silicone hose – draw beer from the top
Stainless steel float ball with a 60 cm silicone hose (6 mm). The float keeps the end of the hose just below the surface, so the beer is drawn from the top and the sediment stays behind. It is used in Keg King PET pressure fermenters such as the Apollo, Fermenter King and the original Fermentasaurus.
The floating dip tube can also be used in a Cornelius keg to draw beer from the top. This is especially useful if you pressure ferment in a keg and want to transfer the finished beer to another keg.

Frequently asked questions about the floating dip tube
Why use a floating dip tube?
The float draws beer from the top, where it is clearest. Yeast and sediment stay at the bottom of the tank or keg.
Can I use it in a Cornelius keg?
Yes. You then replace the long dip tube with a short CO2 dip tube, which is sold separately. This way a Cornelius keg can also be used to pressure ferment small batches.
Which fermenters does it fit?
It is made for the Keg King PET pressure fermenters: Apollo, Fermenter King and the original Fermentasaurus.
