What is in the kit
- New 23L Cornelius keg from AEB, Italy
- SodaStream CO2 cylinder 425 g

How to use the keg kit
Always keep the CO2 cylinder upright when it is connected to the regulator. The cylinder contains liquid CO2, which can freeze the gauge and damage the regulator if the cylinder is lying down.
Tip: Carbonate the beer at 1 bar for 1 week at a normal fridge temperature of 4 °C. See also the carbonation chart among the product images.
Frequently asked questions about the keg kit
How much beer does the 23L keg hold?
The keg holds a full standard 25L batch after fermentation. Do not fill above the gas tube, or beer can flow back into the regulator if the CO2 cylinder runs empty.
How long does it take to carbonate the beer?
At 1 bar and about 4 °C with the gas connected the whole time, the beer is fully carbonated after roughly a week. The beer cannot become more carbonated than the pressure allows, so the method is safe even the first time.
Does the regulator fit cylinders other than SodaStream?
The Oxyturbo regulator in the kit is compatible with both SodaStream and AGA CO2 cylinders.
Why must the CO2 cylinder stand upright?
The cylinder contains liquid CO2. If it lies down while the regulator is connected, the liquid can freeze the gauge and damage the regulator.
