Double Up Doppelbock all-grain beer kit – a solid, dark doppelbock
Double Up is a solid, dark doppelbock with a light, bitter hop flavour and a fine head of foam. With an OG of 1.072 and 7.5% alcohol it is a strong beer that is best enjoyed with hearty food.
All Brewolution all-grain beer kits contain malt, hops, yeast and any sugar and spices for a 23–25 litre brew. The kit is for those who brew with a brewing system or kettle, mashing and boiling from scratch.

Fresh malt for brew day
For quality and shelf life, the malt is supplied uncrushed. If you do not already have a grain mill, we recommend getting one so you have fresh ingredients on brew day. Freshly crushed malt gives the best result.

What fermentation temperature should I use?
The beer is fermented for 14 days at 12–16 °C. That is cooler than for most ales, so you need a place that holds that temperature steadily.
How much beer does the kit make?
The kit makes 23–25 litres of beer at approx. 7.5% alcohol.
Is the malt crushed?
No, the malt is supplied uncrushed to stay fresh. Crush it yourself just before brewing, ideally with your own grain mill.
What else do I need?
Priming sugar or carbonation drops are not included. You also need equipment for mashing, boiling and fermentation.
