Brewtools Unitanks are fermentation tanks for ambitious homebrewers, brewing clubs and small breweries. You can ferment, clarify and carbonate in one and the same tank. The F300 has a total volume of 310 litres and a recommended working volume of 120–290 litres. The tank is made from 1.5 mm stainless steel and rated for a working pressure of up to 2.0 bar (30 PSI). The cooling jacket sits in the vertical wall and provides efficient cooling.

Accessories

Useful accessories, depending on use, include the Brewtools HopDrop kit, a thermowell for the sensor, a 34 mm ball lock for CO2 filling, a carbonation stone with ball lock, a coil for the sample valve, a spunding valve, hose fittings and hoses for filling and emptying, and a 2" sight glass.

Quality and delivery

Brewtools Unitanks are tested and approved to the requirements of PED 2014/68/EU by an independent party. The tank is too large and heavy to ship as a parcel and is therefore shipped on a pallet.

Frequently asked questions about the Brewtools F300 Unitank

How much can I ferment in the F300?

The recommended working volume is 120–290 litres. The gross volume is 310 litres, and the cone holds 40 litres. If you ferment under pressure, leave plenty of headspace at the top of the tank.

What pressure can the tank handle?

The F300 is rated for a working pressure of up to 2.0 bar (30 PSI), and a 2 bar pressure relief valve is included. For pressure fermentation, 0.7–1 bar is a common pressure.

How is the tank cooled?

The cooling jacket in the vertical wall connects to a glycol chiller. The included neoprene insulation jacket keeps the temperature stable.

How is the F300 delivered?

The tank ships on a pallet, as it is too large and heavy for a parcel. The weight with packaging is 95 kg.
