Pack of 25 paper fibre filter sheets, type V0, for Grifo plate filters. The sheets measure 20 × 20 cm and filter down to approx. 18 micron. V0 is the coarsest sheet in the series and is used for rough filtration. Grifo recommends V0 and V4 for young wines that are particularly cloudy.

Which plate filters do the sheets fit?
The sheets are 20 × 20 cm and fit Grifo plate filters that take this size, such as the FCH10 Hobby plate filter and FCP20 professional plate filter.
What is the difference between V0 and the other filter sheets?
V0 filters down to approx. 18 micron and is the coarsest. Next come V4 (15 micron), V8, V16 (2 micron), V18 (1 micron), V20 (0.7 micron) and V24 (0.5 micron). A higher V number means finer filtration.
How do I get the best out of V0?
With cloudy wine it is wise to start with a coarse sheet such as V0 or V4 and then filter with a finer sheet. That way the fine sheets do not clog as quickly.
Are the sheets approved for food contact?
Yes. The series meets the requirements of CE 1935/2004, BfR recommendation Ch XXXVI and FDA CFR 21 176.170.
