Description
Brewtools Trubinator S (Ø320 mm) – trub filter for whirlpooling
The Trubinator is a filter placed in the bottom of the brewing system or kettle at the end of the boil. When you whirlpool, hops, grain residue and other sediment collect inside the filter in the centre of the kettle. The wort transferred to the fermenter is therefore clearer.
Trubinator S has a diameter of 320 mm and a height of 80 mm. The silicone base protects the bottom of the kettle and seals, so the trub stays inside the filter. The filter is held in place by a single wing nut, making cleaning quick.

Frequently asked questions about the Brewtools Trubinator S
What sizes does the Trubinator come in?
The Trubinator comes in three sizes: S (Ø320 mm), M (Ø420 mm) and L (Ø500 mm). Compare the dimensions with the bottom of your kettle. If you do not brew very hop-heavy beers, you can choose a smaller Trubinator.
How do I use the Trubinator?
Place the filter in the bottom of the kettle at the end of the boil. Create a whirlpool when chilling starts. As the wort is transferred to the fermenter, the whirlpool slows down and the trub stays inside the filter.
How do I clean the filter?
Undo the wing nut, take the filter apart and rinse the parts. The filter is held together by a single bolt, so it is quick.
