Special Roast Malt - Briess
This is a drum-roasted biscuit-like malt that is more deeply roasted than Briess' Victory® Malt. Through a unique malting and roasting process, the intensity of toasted bread and biscuit flavors is increased. It develops noticeable notes of bran flakes and creates a characteristic sourdough flavor.
Usage Levels / Beer Styles
- 5-10%: Excellent in IPAs, ESBs, Ambers, Nut Brown Ales, Porters, and other dark beer styles
