Racking Tube Holder 3/8" from Fermtech – keeps the racking cane in place

The Racking Tube Holder is a spring-loaded clip from Fermtech that keeps the racking cane steady while you transfer beer, wine or cider. You do not have to hold the cane yourself, and it stays well above the sediment so you do not stir it up. The holder fits 3/8" racking canes and can be used on buckets, glass and PET carboys and demijohns.

The holder is made for standard racking canes, not for auto-siphons that you start by pumping. Fermtech makes a separate holder for its auto-siphons.

How to use the holder

• Start the transfer with the cane well above the sediment.
• If you use a bucket, rest the tip of the cane against the bucket wall.
• Slide the cane down towards the bottom corner as the level drops.

Does the holder fit an auto-siphon?

No. The Racking Tube Holder is meant for standard racking canes. For Fermtech auto-siphons, use Fermtech's siphon holder.
