Primera LX4000e – colour label printer with large ink tanks and pigment ink
The Primera LX4000e is a colour label printer with the Big Ink system. Instead of one small all-in-one cartridge, it has large, separate ink tanks for cyan, magenta and yellow (3 × 60 ml), connected to a reusable print head by tubes. You only replace the colour that runs out, for a lower ink cost per label. The printer is built on the same platform as the LX910e and is made to order.
Please note: This product is only available in Norway.
This version uses pigment ink. Pigment ink is more durable than dye ink and stands up well to moisture and water, making it a good fit for labels on bottles and cans kept in the fridge, an ice bath or a cold room. The ClearView tanks let you check the ink level without opening the cover.
The LX4000e prints colour photos, graphics, text and barcodes, with identical or unique data on each label.

Frequently asked questions about the Primera LX4000e
What is the difference between the LX4000e and the LX910e?
Both are built on the same platform. The LX910e uses one all-in-one ink cartridge, while the LX4000e has large, separate ink tanks for each colour (Big Ink). That gives a lower ink cost per label and suits higher print volumes.
Why pigment ink?
Pigment ink is more durable than dye ink and stands up well to moisture and water. It is a good choice for labels on drinks that are kept cold or in humid conditions.
How wide labels can the LX4000e print?
The print width is 13–210 mm, and the media can be 38–212 mm wide. The supply roll can be up to 152 mm in diameter on a 76 mm core.
Can I connect the printer to a network?
Yes. The LX4000e has both USB 2.0 and wired network (Ethernet). Network printing works with Windows only.
What warranty is included?
The manufacturer gives a 36-month warranty when the printer is registered, for printers bought in the EU/EEA and the UK.
