Oxycaps are 26 mm crown caps with a liner that absorbs oxygen from the air in the bottle neck (headspace). This protects the beer from oxidation, which causes cardboard flavours and fading hop aroma. Oxycaps were developed by Crown, a maker of metal packaging for breweries and the food industry. The pack contains 100 light blue caps.

How to use Oxycaps

• The liner is activated by moisture. Sanitise the caps just before bottling, not long in advance.
• The caps are applied with a standard capper for 26 mm crown caps.
• Fits standard beer bottles for 26 mm crown caps.
