Description

Microfibre cloth 40 × 40 cm, 400 GSM – for dusting, glasses, screens and brewing equipment

This seamless, professional-grade microfibre cloth is made of a soft 80/20 microfibre blend that does not scratch, even on delicate surfaces, and it absorbs up to 7 times its own weight. That makes it useful for far more than brewing equipment: it picks up dust in the home and car, cleans glasses, screens and glass, and wipes up water and spills wherever you want a clean, streak-free result.

Uses

  • Dusting furniture, shelves and other surfaces in the home and car
  • Cleaning glasses, screens and glass, where a soft cloth that does not scratch gives the best result
  • Drying and polishing stainless steel, glass and fermenters after cleaning brewing equipment
  • Wiping up water and spilled soda, coffee and the like

The cloth has long fibres on one side and short fibres on the other, so you can use whichever side suits the job.

Care

A microfibre cloth lasts a long time when treated correctly. Do not use fabric softener when washing microfibre, and do not tumble dry the cloth, as both can damage the fibres.

Frequently asked questions about the microfibre cloth

Can I use the cloth on glasses and screens?

Yes, the cloth is made of a soft 80/20 microfibre blend that does not scratch, even on delicate surfaces, which makes it well suited for glasses, screens and glass.

How much water does the cloth absorb?

The cloth absorbs up to 7 times its own weight, so it easily takes up water after cleaning brewing equipment as well as spilled soda, coffee and the like.

Why does the cloth have two different sides?

One side has long fibres and the other short, so you can use whichever side suits the job, whether you are dusting, polishing or wiping up water.

How do I wash the cloth?

Wash it without fabric softener and let it air dry. Tumble drying and fabric softener damage the microfibres.
