John Guest Straight Adaptor 5/16" x 1/4" BSP – straight thread-to-tube fitting
Straight adaptor from John Guest with a 1/4" BSP male thread at one end and a push-fit connection for 5/16" OD tubing at the other. Use it, for example, to replace a hose barb on equipment with 1/4" BSP threads with a push-fit connection for 5/16" tubing. John Guest push-fit fittings are designed for fast, secure and leak-free connection of tubing and pipes, for both liquids and gas under pressure, and are food grade.

Does it fit equipment with NPT threads?
No. BSP and NPT have different thread forms. For 1/4" NPT threads there is the John Guest Straight Adaptor 3/8" x 1/4" NPTF.
Which tubing fits?
Tubing with a 5/16" outside diameter (OD). Cut the tubing square and push it fully into the fitting.
How do I disconnect the tubing?
Push in the collet on the push-fit end and pull the tubing out at the same time.
