Description
Fresh Wort Kit Dispense Clip – easy dispensing from Bag-in-Box
The Fresh Wort Kit Dispense Clip is a clip specially designed for dispensing from a bag-in-box. It holds the tap open, so your fingers do not tire while 20 litres of wort run into the fermenter. It is also more hygienic than cutting the bag open.
How to use the clip
- Place the Fresh Wort Kit on a table, higher than the fermenter.
- Pull out the tap on the Bag-in-Box.
- Fit the clip and let the wort run into the fermenter while you do something else.
Frequently asked questions about the Fresh Wort Kit Dispense Clip
What is the Dispense Clip used for?
The clip holds the tap of a bag-in-box open while the wort is dispensed. It is made for Fresh Wort Kits, where a full 20 litres of wort has to go into the fermenter.
Why not just cut the bag open?
Cutting the bag exposes the wort to cut edges and hands. With the clip, the wort runs out through the tap, which is more hygienic.
Is the clip included in the starter kits?
Yes, the Simply Brew starter kits with a Fresh Wort Kit include a Dispense Clip.
