The swing top closes and opens by hand, so you need neither crown caps nor a capper, and the bottles can be reused many times. They are suitable for bottling homebrewed beer, cider and other drinks, and are nice for giving homebrew as a gift.

How many bottles do I need for a 20-litre batch?
A 20-litre batch fills just under 40 bottles of 0.5 litre, which is three boxes. Some of the volume stays behind as sediment in the fermenter.
Can the rubber seal be replaced?
Yes. The seal is replaceable, and new rubber seals for swing tops are sold separately.
How do I carbonate the beer in the bottles?
Add one carbonation drop per bottle, close the swing top and leave the bottles at room temperature for about two weeks. Then move them somewhere cold.
