Description

Einbrew 4F – fermentation controller for 1–4 vessels

Einbrew 4F is an electronic fermentation temperature controller, designed, manufactured and supported in the UK. With the 4F you program the desired temperature for each tank, see the fermentation time in hours and can let the controller manage crash cooling. The controller has four outputs and can run heating or cooling on 1–4 tanks, or both heating and cooling on 1–2 tanks.

The outputs can drive pumps, for example for glycol cooling, or relays for heaters. The controller is made of powder-coated steel and has integral wall-mounting brackets. Professional installation is advised.

Frequently asked questions about the Einbrew 4F

How many tanks can the Einbrew 4F control?

It controls 1 to 4 fermentation vessels, with an individual temperature for each tank.

Can it control both heating and cooling?

Yes. With four outputs it runs either heating or cooling on up to four tanks, or both heating and cooling on up to two tanks.

What is included?

Controller, 1.5 m power lead, five NTC temperature sensors, four C13 output connectors and installation instructions.

Why does temperature control matter during fermentation?

A stable temperature gives the yeast good conditions and fewer off-flavours. Too high a temperature gives lots of esters and fusel alcohols, while too low a temperature gives a slow or incomplete fermentation.
