Description
Chemipro CIP 500 ml – low-foaming acid-based sanitizer for brewing equipment
Chemipro CIP is an acid-based, low-foaming sanitizer, similar to Saniclean. It is used after cleaning with for example PBW, Chemipro Wash or Grainfather Cleaner, to sanitize tanks, kegs, hoses and other brewing equipment. Because it foams little, it is well suited to CIP systems and soaking, where pumps and spray balls would otherwise create a lot of foam.
How to use Chemipro CIP
- Clean the equipment first with a cleaner. A sanitizer sanitizes but does not remove dirt.
- Mix 25–40 ml Chemipro CIP per 10 litres of water.
- Leave the solution for 3 minutes.
- Rinse with clean water.
Chemipro CIP has previously been used as a no-rinse sanitizer, but under current regulations it is now recommended to rinse with water after use.
