Description

Brew Monk 30L fermenter – stainless steel fermenter with conical bottom

The Brew Monk fermenter in 304 stainless steel is a sturdy fermenter for standard 23–25 litre homebrew batches. The conical bottom makes it easy to drain yeast and sediment through the dump valve, and the tap with rotating pick-up tube gives you clear beer without the sediment. Two fermenters can be stacked on top of each other, so they take up little space.

Pairs well with the Brew Monk brewing systems.

Frequently asked questions about the Brew Monk 30L fermenter

How much can I ferment in it?

The fermenter holds 32 litres in total and is designed for 23–25 litre batches, leaving room for krausen during fermentation.

Can I pressure ferment or carbonate in it?

No. The fermenter is single-walled and not designed for pressure. It also has no cooling jacket.

What is the advantage of a conical bottom?

Yeast and sediment collect at the bottom of the cone. You can then drain it through the dump valve, and your beer will be clearer when you transfer it.

A digital thermometer is included, with batteries.
