Adapter DN40 male DIN 11851 to 2" BSPT male
This stainless steel adapter converts a DN40 male DIN 11851 connection, also known as dairy coupling, to a 2" BSPT male thread. The DIN side connects to a DN40 female part with nut and gasket, and the BSPT side fits a 2" BSPT female port.
BSPT is a British standard for tapered pipe threads. With this adapter you can connect equipment with 2" BSPT threads to a DN40 dairy coupling.

What is BSPT?
BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) is a British standard for tapered pipe threads. It is not the same as American NPT threads, so check that the mating part is also BSPT.
What is DIN 11851?
DIN 11851 is a German standard for threaded pipe couplings in the food industry, often called dairy coupling. The male side has external threads and connects to a female part with a nut and gasket.
Do I need a gasket?
Yes, the DIN 11851 side is sealed with a gasket. An EPDM gasket for DN40 is sold separately.
