1.5" Tri-Clamp x 1/2" FPT (female) – stainless steel adapter

Adapter from 1.5" Tri-Clamp to 1/2" FPT. FPT means female pipe threads to the American NPT standard. What does FPT mean?

FPT stands for female pipe thread, i.e. internal threads to the NPT standard. The part you screw in must have male 1/2" NPT threads.

What do I need to fit it?

The Tri-Clamp side is fastened to another 1.5" Tri-Clamp ferrule with a 1.5" Tri-Clamp clamp and a 1.5" gasket. Use thread tape on the threaded side.

Does it fit parts with BSP threads?

NPT and BSP have different thread forms and are not designed to fit together. Use parts with NPT threads for a tight seal.
