Description
1.5" Tri-Clamp carbonation stone with check valve
A carbonation stone with a 1.5" Tri-Clamp connection for carbonating beer in a tank. Many carbonation stones are supplied without a check valve. When the tank pressure equals the pressure from the CO2 source, liquid can then flow back through the stone and into the line towards the regulator. This stone comes complete with a check valve, so you avoid that problem.
The stone is from Brumetal, Brewshop's own brand, and is made of top-quality 304 stainless steel.

Frequently asked questions about the carbonation stone with check valve
Why does the carbonation stone need a check valve?
When the tank pressure equals the pressure from the CO2 source, beer can flow back through the stone and into the gas line towards the regulator. The check valve prevents this.
How do I connect CO2?
The ball valve has 1/4" NPT female thread. Screw in a hose barb or a quick disconnect for the CO2 line.
What do I need to fit the stone to the tank?
The tank needs a 1.5" Tri-Clamp port. You also need a 1.5" Tri-Clamp clamp and a gasket.
How do I clean the stone?
All parts can be dismantled, so the stone, check valve and ball valve can be cleaned and sanitized separately.
