1.5" Tri-Clamp Inline Filter short (24.5 cm) – two-stage filter

A professional inline filter from Brumetal in polished 304 stainless steel of the highest quality, with a 1.5" Tri-Clamp connection. The main filter has 1 mm holes. On the outside sits a removable 100 micron secondary filter, which you slide over the main filter when you need extra fine filtration.

The filter is fitted between the pump and the plate chiller or counterflow chiller, so hops and trub do not clog the chiller.

Where should the filter be fitted?

The filter is fitted between the pump and the plate chiller or counterflow chiller. It catches hops and particles before they reach the chiller.

When do I use the 100 micron secondary filter?

Slide the secondary filter over the main filter when you need extra fine filtration. For normal filtering of hops and trub, the main filter with 1 mm holes is enough.

What do I need to connect it?

The filter has a 1.5" Tri-Clamp at each end. For each connection you need a 1.5" Tri-Clamp clamp and a gasket.

How do I clean the filter?

Take the filter out of the housing and rinse it clean. The secondary filter is removable, so both filters are easy to clean.
