1.5" Tri-Clamp Blow-Off Tube – Norcal
A blow-off tube in 304 stainless steel from Norcal, with a 1.5" Tri-Clamp connection. The tube fits a 1.5" Tri-Clamp port on the fermenter and carries CO2 and foam from vigorous fermentation out through a hose, for example into a container of water or sanitizer. The tube has two 90-degree bends and a 1/2" outer diameter, and fits 12 mm silicone hose.
Clamp and gasket are sold separately.

What should I watch out for when cold crashing?
When the beer is chilled, the gas in the tank contracts. Liquid from the blow-off hose can then be sucked back into the beer. Lift the hose out of the liquid or use a solution that prevents suck-back before you chill.
