PBW is a powerful alkaline, non-caustic, and environmentally friendly cleaner for brewing equipment, which effectively removes organic matter/protein residues in brewing equipment, fermentation vessels, etc. Used by both breweries and homebrewers.
Safe to use on stainless steel, rubber, plastic, and soft metals like copper, aluminum, and brass. Do not use on Teflon. Generates 4-5% oxygen.
Dosage, hot water:
- Normal cleaning: 7 - 14 g per liter of water
- For difficult dirt: 21 g per liter of water
Rinse after use. Then disinfect the equipment with a sanitizer, such as Star San.
