John Guest 3/16" Plug – blanking plug for push-fit fittings
The John Guest 3/16" Plug is a blanking plug that pushes into a John Guest fitting for 3/16" tube. It closes off a port you are not using, for example on a tee, or a fitting where the tube has been removed. The plug pushes in just like a tube and is held by the collet.
John Guest push-fit fittings are made for quick and secure connection of tubes and pipes for liquid and gas under pressure. The fittings are food grade.

What is a blanking plug used for?
It closes an open 3/16" port in a push-fit fitting, for example on a tee when you only need two of the outlets, or when you temporarily disconnect a line.
How do I remove the plug again?
Push the collet in towards the fitting and pull the plug out at the same time. Depressurise the line first.
Can I use Star San on John Guest fittings?
Acid-based sanitizers can make plastic parts brittle over time. Rinse the fittings with clean water after using Star San.
