BEST Oat Malt is made from hulled naked oats. The oats provide a velvety mouthfeel, which, at a higher proportion in the malt base, yields both a slightly nutty oat-typical aroma, as well as fruity aromas and stable turbidity. The increased fat content in the grain slightly affects head retention. The lower starch content results in a lower extract content. Oat malt is rich in folates, as well as vitamins B6 and E.

Usage: Up to 50%. For Oatmeal IPA, Oatmeal Stout, various dark beers, among others.
