34mm Tri-Clamp x 1/2" BSP (female) – stainless steel adapter

Adapter from 34 mm Tri-Clamp to 1/2" BSP(P) female thread. It lets you connect threaded parts, such as hose barbs, valves and thermometers with 1/2" BSP male thread, to equipment with 34 mm Tri-Clamp. The adapter is made of 304 stainless steel by Brumetal, Brewshop's own brand of high-quality parts.

What is the difference between BSP and NPT (FPT)?

BSP(P) is a British pipe thread with parallel threads, while NPT is an American tapered thread. They have different pitch and profile and should not be mixed. If you need NPT, we also stock the 34mm Tri-Clamp x 1/2" FPT (female).

What do I need to fit the adapter?

The Tri-Clamp side is secured with a 34 mm Tri-Clamp clamp and a 34 mm gasket. Seal the threaded side with thread tape or a gasket, depending on the part you connect.
