Lindr – beer coolers, tap towers and cooling systems for draught beer
Lindr from the Czech Republic makes beer coolers with tap towers, ice bank coolers, glycol chillers and compressors for beer, cider and other drinks served cold. Brewshop is the Norwegian distributor of Lindr. Here you will find our whole Lindr range: portable towers, bar and festival coolers, keg coolers to order and spare parts.
How to choose the right Lindr beer cooler
With or without compressor: Models with /K in the name have a built-in air compressor. It lets you dispense from KeyKeg and PolyKeg. Models without K use CO2.
Capacity: The PYGMY 25 cools 25–35 litres per hour (50–70 half-litres). The KONTAKT 40 cools up to 50 litres per hour and has two taps for two kegs.
Dry cooler or ice bank: PYGMY and KONTAKT are dry coolers. AS-80 and AS-110 are under-counter ice bank coolers with 2–4 or 2–6 coils for pubs, restaurants and festivals.
Glycol for fermentation: The AS-40 Glycol Green Line was developed by Lindr together with Brewshop for temperature control of 1–3 fermenters up to 200 litres in total, using submersible pumps.
Green Line: these models use R-290 refrigerant. Lindr states 20% higher energy efficiency.

Frequently asked questions about Lindr
What does K mean in Lindr model names?
K means the cooler has a built-in air compressor. Air is pumped between the keg and the inner bag of a KeyKeg or PolyKeg, pushing the beer out without touching it.
Do I need CO2 for a Lindr PYGMY 25?
Yes. The PYGMY 25 and KONTAKT 40 without K come without a compressor, so you need CO2 to move the beer from the keg. They suit homebrewers who already have CO2 equipment.
How much beer can a Lindr cooler chill?
The PYGMY 25 and 25/K cool 25–35 litres per hour. The KONTAKT 40 and 40/K cool up to 50 litres per hour, about 100 half-litre glasses.
Can I use Star San in a Lindr cooler?
Be careful. Acid-based sanitisers such as Star San can damage plastic parts, including John Guest and DMfit fittings. Rinse after sanitising, and use Pipeline to clean the beer lines.
Can I order Lindr products that are not in the web shop?
Yes. Contact us for a quote on Lindr products beyond those we stock.
