The fire bowl has a double wall and secondary combustion: air is drawn in from below and between the walls, adding extra oxygen to the flames. The result is an even fire with little smoke and little ash.

The Tyropit is made of stainless steel, and the Black Edition has a black exterior. The heat shield under the bowl reduces heat downwards and protects the ground, and the three sturdy legs keep it stable. The removable ash tray with spark dome catches ash and embers, and the charcoal grate keeps the embers together.

The Tyropit also works as a base for cooking over the fire, for example with cast iron pots and other Petromax equipment. The stainless steel develops a patina over time, and discolouration is completely normal.

Features

Double wall and secondary combustion for little smoke and ash

Stainless steel with black exterior

Heat shield protects the ground

Removable ash tray with spark dome

Removable charcoal grate

Three sturdy legs

Can be used as a base for cooking

Technical data

Material: stainless steel

Dimensions with legs (H × W × D): 35.5 × 62.3 × 62.3 cm

Bowl body (H × Ø): 21.2 × 57.5 cm

Inner diameter at the top: 51.1 cm

Weight: 12.1 kg (14.4 kg packed)

In the box

Double-walled fire bowl

Charcoal grate

Ash tray with spark dome

Heat shield

3 legs with brackets, screws and Allen key

Instruction manual

Frequently asked questions about the Petromax Tyropit

Why does the Tyropit produce little smoke?

The fire bowl has a double wall and secondary combustion.
